Miriam Nobre

Miriam Nobre is an agronomist and lecturer for the Latin America’s Integration Inter-Units Graduate Program (Prolam/USP) of the University of Sao Paulo, in Brasil. Since 1993, she has been a member of the SOF (Sempreviva Organização Feminista) team, where she carries out training and research-action activities in agroecology, feminist economics and solidarity economics. Since 2015 she has been working with family farmers and Quilombolas in the Vale do Ribeira, region with the largest continuum of Atlantic forest in the country. She is part of the coordination of the Women's Working Group of the National Articulation of Agroecology (ANA) and is an activist of the World March of Women, of which she coordinated the International Secretariat between 2006 and 2013.
