Jérôme Dupras

Jérôme Dupras is a Professor in the Department of Natural Sciences at the Université du Québec en Outaouais and a researcher at the Institute of Temperate Forest Sciences (ISFORT). He is particularly interested in the relationship between ecosystems and the production of ecosystem services as well as issues of territory development and multifunctionality of agriculture. He has long been involved in promoting agroforestry through his numerous research projects on the ecological restoration of watersheds and banks, as well as on the valorization of ecosystem services generated by diversified production systems. His participation will shed light on recent analytical approaches on the contribution of agroforestry to the production of ecosystem services in rural areas.
